Full-Time Farm Hand – Flinders Island, Tasmania

Quoin Farm is a family-owned cattle operation on beautiful Flinders Island, running approximately 1,200 breeding cattle. We are looking for a committed full-time Farm Hand to join us for a minimum of two years.

What the role involves

  • Daily cattle work including mustering, calving, and herd health

  • General farm maintenance (fencing, water systems, pasture management)

  • Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

  • Working collaboratively with the farm team and family owners

What we’re looking for

  • Experience with cattle and farm operations (minimum 2 years preferred)

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Practical skills with fencing, machinery, and general farm upkeep
